Community guidelines

These guidelines keep the directory accurate, fair and useful. Moderators apply them to every listing, correction, answer and comment.

Suggesting a provider

  • Suggest real businesses or self-employed professionals offering services in or around Prague.
  • Include only publicly available business information. Never include a private home address, a private phone number or personal details that are not used for the business.
  • Be honest about how you know they can communicate in English. A submission written in English is not evidence on its own.
  • Business owners may suggest their own business, but must say so.
  • Do not suggest a business that is already listed — suggest an edit to the existing listing instead.

Answering "Did they speak English with you?"

Answer only about your own, genuine experience with the provider. Answer yes if you could arrange and get the service in English, and no if you couldn't make yourself understood in English. Do not answer for your own business, your employer, relatives or competitors, or because you were paid or rewarded. We remove answers that look manipulated, for example many answers from one connection.

Writing a comment

Comments are optional. We do not publish comments that:

  • are written by the business, its staff, relatives, competitors or anyone paid or rewarded for them;
  • describe something you have not experienced yourself;
  • contain insults, harassment, threats, or discriminatory language about anyone;
  • contain personal data, such as names of individual employees in a negative context, phone numbers or addresses;
  • make serious allegations (for example of crimes) that are not supported by your own direct experience;
  • are advertising, spam, or not about the provider.

Critical comments are welcome. Describe what happened factually and calmly — that is far more useful to readers.

How moderation works

  • Moderators review every new listing, correction and comment before publication.
  • Moderators may decline or hide content that breaks these guidelines, and may edit listing details to correct facts or remove personal data. We do not edit the content of comments.
  • Every moderation decision is recorded internally.
